High School Ministry

Open to all 9th-12th grade students, our high school program consists of various types of events and service opportunities.  During the school year, we meet Sunday evenings from 7-9 pm in the youth center for our drop-in program.  All are welcome!

Retreats– Each year, our high school program does a minimum of three retreats: a fall, winter and spring retreat.

Service– We do out best to weave service into all events at St. Michael including our retreats.  Every spring break, our high school program does a week long mission trip entitled Alternative Spring Break.  The past few years, we have been serving in Eastern Kentucky.  Each summer, we participate in at least one summer mission trip.  This year, we will be participating in two: one to Guatemala and one in Cincinnati, OH. We also perform various service opportunities throughout the year.

Mentoring– Our high school youth are both mentored to and mentors.  Some of our high school students serve as mentors for our jr. high program throughout the year with our family program.  We welcome any adults who would like to serve as mentors for our high schoolers to contact the youth ministry office.
